In this modern Internet age, isn't it reassuring to know that old-fashioned snobbery hasn't disappeared?

Dear <someone>,

Obviously, you have never bought art in the high end gallery before, it is a
standard of the industry that the prices are given by the phone only. The
web site is made mainly for our repeat clients , so they can see what the
artist they have been collecting for years has painted recently. But people
like you sometimes stumble on it too.

If you have any questons please feel free to call any members of our staff.

Thank you.

Followup comment from <someone>:

[..] check out the site... for a high-end gallery, you could do better at the semi-annual Holiday Inn motel art extravaganza.
